Due to network problems caused by a massive computer virus, IITS requests that each and every Windows user, whether or not they have been affected by a virus, follow the instructions listed below:
1) Click on the following Web site:
http://helpline.concordia.ca/virus/Welchia.html, select your operating system under "Patches" and follow the step-by-step instructions indicated.
2) Click on the following link: http://helpline.concordia.ca, followed by "Welchia" (highlighted in orange), then click on "Welchia fix" and follow the step-by-step instructions listed.
3) Return to http://helpline.concordia.ca and perform the same steps listed in 2) for "Blaster" and "Sobig".
4) Under the "Start" menu, click on "Windows Update", followed by "Scan for updates".
