Upcoming hold on telephone orders for moves, adds and changes |

Please be advised that telephone moves, adds and changes will be unavailable from Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005 to Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, in order to accommodate the implementation of our new E-911* system.
The following services will be affected:
- Connection of new telephones.
- Changes to programming of existing telephones. These include:
- Adding line appearances;
- Features changes (i.e., call forward busy, call forward no answer); and
- Voice-mail.
- Moves of telephones to other buildings.
- Changes to telephone display and to listings in the corporate directory.
Please note that the installation of cabling will not be affected.
Orders may still be submitted during these dates, but will only be processed after Nov. 14. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Helpline at ext. 7613 or help@concordia.ca. Thank you for your patience.
In cases of extreme urgency, please contact Sandra James at ext. 4994 or Sandra.James@Concordia.ca.
*E-911 will automatically notify campus Security each time a 911 call is made at the university. The call to 911 will trigger an innovative new technology which pinpoints the caller’s exact location on campus (right down to the room!). The result is a much quicker response time.
