FAQ for H-110 Alumni Auditorium

ROOM SPECS
• seats 700 plus 4 wheelchairs (standing capacity 723);
• large screen (image area is 17'x36');
• 9 wireless microphones (1 lapel, 8 handheld);
• Shure Beta 54 wireless headset (very tiny) available;
• 3 data projectors with Silicon Optics image correction;
• film & video screenings may be booked seperately (see equipment lists below);
• additional AV equipment may be booked separately.

• 35 mm (Technalight system);

• 16 mm interlock;
- all formats available in 1:37, 1.66, 1.85, and 2.35 aspect ratios;
- full open (1.33) available for old silent films.
• Slide projection can be arranged.

Film Sound (Dolby CP-650D)

Video Sound (Atlantic Technology P-2000)
• DOLBY D: Dolby Digital 5.1 channel processing for all Dolby Digital encoded sources;
• PLII-C Pro Logic II Cinema Surround: enhanced playback from any 2-channel source like VCR or TV;
• PLII-M Pro Logic II Music Surround: enhanced playback of 2 channel
(stereo) music;
• DOLBY PL Pro Logic Emulation: equivalent to original Dolby Pro Logic surround processing;
• 5 STEREO: 5 Channel Stereo: creates a 5-channel program (L/C/R/LS/RS) from any stereo source;
• and many other modes.

PROJECTIONIST & EQUIPMENT RATES
Internal:
$25/hr projectionist (3-hr minimum);
$25/hr equipment (2-hr minimum).
External:
$35/hr projectionist (3-hr minimum);
$35/hr equipment (2-hr minimum).

RATES - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Additional projectionist and equipment time beyond the minimums will be charged at the same rate.
• The projectionist will arrive before show time as noted in the booking (generally 1 to 2 hours ahead of time as determined by the Booking Coordinator) to set up and check the system. The client is requested to meet the projectionist at that time with their media.
• Booking categories are applied at the discretion of IITS. We reserve the right to change the client's booking category if the client or event status changes.
• No taxes are charged when paid via budget code (internal).
• Reduced rates can be discussed for external clients when booking multiple dates.
• If other equipment is needed (i.e. laptop, microphones, etc.), further rental fees apply.

ROOM RENTAL
IITS Cinemas does not rent the room, we only coordinate support for film and video screenings in H-110. Once you have the room booked, you should contact us to arrange projection services.
