Desktop Support

The Desktop Support Group deals with the more complex issues referred by the Helpline (7613) affecting staff and faculty desktop computers. Our role is to determine the cause of malfunctions and make appropriate corrections or recommend a course of action to resolve the problem. We also provide consulting services for desktop computer configurations, as well as research solutions to improve the reliability of desktop computers and the delivery of our service.

If you are having difficulties with your computer or one of Concordia's technical services, please contact the Helpline at 848-2424, ext. 7613.

Desktop Support includes:

  • On-site service for troubleshoot problems;

  • Providing assistance with virus removal; and

  • Providing assistance with the installation and configuration of operating systems, printers, peripherals and software.
